Hello,
here are our current news.

The German federal ministry of finance is planning the issue of a five-part series of 5 Euro collective coins with a colored polymer ring.

The series begins in 2017 with the issue “Tropical Zone” and ends in 2021 with the coin “Polar Zone”. The colors of the polymer rings is chosen according to the climatic conditions of each zone based on the temperature-color-scale: from hot (red) to cold (purple). Therefore, a transparent red polymer ring is issued. Each of the five mints in Germany will mint the coin with a polymer ring in a different shade of red. The total circulation of the coin will be 2.3 million pieces, of which 300,000 in the collector quality proof.
Issue is spring 2017.

The reservation will soon be offered.
